Sun Spot Removal
Did you know the largest organ of your body is actually your skin? It consists of three layers: the subcutaneous, the dermis, and the epidermis layer. While you’re exposed to sunlight, the epidermis is constantly hit by rays of UV light. The ultraviolet light damages your surface cells, and after a while forms fine red blood vessels and can cause an increased amount of abnormal cells (with the potential to turn cancerous). Sadly, the pigment does not increase evenly, and manifests as freckles, sun spots or liver spots; all referred to as solar lentigines. Although they pose no danger to your health, these spots don’t fade over time and become a permanent mark on your skin.
